What is a "Death Cafe?"

Death and Cafe might not be two words you've heard together before. These pop-up spaces can happen in a coffee shop, park, or other space.

 

It is a discussion group where people (often strangers who become friends) gather to talk about death, dying, and mortality over food and drink - aiming to increase awareness and help people make the most of their lives.
